Hello all,
I have Calibre v0.9.30 (latest available on the Calibre web site). I had previously been using it with my Kindle Keyboard and everything worked just fantastic--all the books were synced to the device and organized in folders by author name, just like I expected.
Last week I took advantage of the sale on the Nook HD+ (running OS 2.1), and I reconfigured Calibre (by running the setup wizard) to use epub/Nook vs. mobi/Kindle. I had previously installed the Kindle app on the HD+ from Google Play to get access to my Amazon ebooks.
Once I started sending ebooks to the HD+ from Calibre, it invariably put them in the Kindle folder, and just dumps them in a pile instead of in folders (even though the Nook plugin is set to use sub directories and has "{author_sort}/{title} - {authors}". For the life of me, I can't figure out how to tell it to stop putting the files in the Kindle folder. Other than not using subfolders, it wouldn't be a big deal except that now all these epubs show up in the Kindle app and can't be read there. After a few hours of Googling and experimenting, I finally gave up and uninstalled the Kindle app & deleted the Kindle folder from the HD+. I then sent books back to the HD+, and now (presumably since the Kindle folder can't be found) Calibre puts them in the Books folder, which is where I would have expected them to be in the first place.
So...is there a way anyone knows about where I can get Calibre to always put its books in the Books folder instead of the Kindle folder?
