Kindle Basic 2024 Page Numbers

I used a Kindle Paperwhite gen. 10 for few years with Calibre. In most books I transfered the page numbers where available.

Now bought a Kindle Basic 2024 and noticed that with the same ebook I transferred with Calibre (same settings etc. AZW3) to the new Kindle Basic there are no page numbers available.

Is there something different to the Kindle Paperwhite gen. 10 or must I change some certain settings?
