Follow On From (separate issue) :

On The PC in Calibre I have :
1) Started the content server (IP 10.1.1.3:8080)
2) Started the wireless device connection (IP 10.1.1.3)
I TRY TO CONNECT AS WIRELESS DEVICE
On My Nexus 7 I have Started Calibre Companion :
3) Select "Connect"as "Wireless Device"
Error "Could Not Find Calibre - Have you Started Wireless connections"
Note - see above - YES the Wireless Connection is started.
On My PC in Calibre I
4) Stop Wireless Connection
5) Select "allow automatic connections"
6) Set port = 9090
7) Tick "use a fixed port"
(Displayed Wireless IP is now 10.1.1.3:9090)
On the Nexus (Companion -> Settings -> Calibre IP Address)
8) IP Address 10.1.1.3
[FYI Nexus IP is 10.1.1.4]
9) Wireless Connect Port 9090
10) "Connect as Wireless Device"
Error "Failed to connect. If you specified an IP Address and port manually, you probably entered them incorrectly"
11) Repeat (4) to (10) using a variety of ports e.g. 9191, 9999.
I believe that I have done everything that the Help has asked me to.
I DID manage to get it to connect ONCE (and transferred two books). I have spent about six hours on this so far.

Callibre is 0.9.6
Device is Nexus 7 32GB Android ver 4.2
