test email fails during installation

Instaling Calibre on Windows 7 PC. I get to the screen asking for email info. I input my Kindle email and my sending email, click "test email." I get a message that "test is not responding," and then get the following in the box:

I sent a test pdf from my sending email directly to my kindle email and it came through just fine. I'm stuck at this point and cannot move forward and have found nothing in the help thus far that has given me any clue how to proceed. I don't understand most of the long error message above and have no idea what to do with it. Please help.:help:
