Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way to change the order of the metadata when sending the epub to the device ?
As described in this thread, I've had several problems with my Pocketbook 626 (mostly problems with correct recognition of series and genre).
We've been several PB users to have this problem and we made some tests to find out from where this could come.
It appears it is mostly due to the order in which the metadata (in content.opf) are stored and how PB's firmware is reading them.
Dublin core datas must be written before any other "<meta name...>" or "<meta content...>" datas. Any dc attributes written after meta attributes will be ignored by PB's firmware.
This is the reason for my question. Many of my epub have their metadata completely scrambled and I would like to know if their is a way in Calibre (or with an extension) to correct that ?
Thank you for your help :)
